Drinks:

Limited amount of complimentary drinks will be provided yet you may purchase additional ones from two amazing bars in Boclair. They currently only accept card payment.

Transport:

Boclair is located in the heart of Bearsden, less than 20 minutes drive or 6.5 miles from Glasgow Central. Boclair can also call a local taxi for you to get home.

Parking:

Boclair has plenty of parking spots for us. If you are not planning to drink, driving would be a good option.

Accomodation:

For those who are traveling from another part of the United Kingdom or abroad, you may wish to check hotels in or arming Glasgow city centre.

First date

Met in ‘Glasgow Central’ station for the first time. At that time, Grace was working 100% remotely for a private equity firm so she doesn’t make many friends in Glasgow. Andrew and Grace first talked through a dating app called Bumble, and they started dating in real life. Grace is an Indonesian of Batak descent, and Andrew is British with Scottish and English descent.

After dating for some time and getting to know each other well, we decided to go to the next Phase of our relationship. On September 30 2023, Andrew proposed to Grace, and she said yes! We also went to Indonesia on October to ask for Grace’s family’s blessings.
